Here we are into fall already! If you missed convention, we had a good time! The resort was HUGE and very nice. Instead of worrying about a room key, they gave you a wrist band to get into your room and you could also use it to charge items to your room by just scanning the band. Nice technology. I am hoping you all saw lots of the pictures of the events and parties – there were plenty online. At the meeting you will hear more about the 2026 convention in Syracuse NY. We will have a busy meeting coming up! We will be voting on the dues increase. Primary dues will go up $15 and spouse/dependent $5 Lifetime memberships will go from $300 to $500 • The competition rulebook changes will be read so governors will know what they will be voting on. There are a lot of updates and changes so we will go over each one. As a reminder: you get to vote on each change separately. Please take a look at the information on the website. The minutes are available under the Members Only tab. The competition changes are on the website under a tab that says Rulebook changes and Clarifications. Talk to your RCD or governor if you have changes or want more information, prior to the meeting and voting. We are continuing to look at ways to cut expenses. It’s time to talk about the 2026 budget already! I am at the National Corvette Museum for the Anniversary celebration and Hall of Fame induction. Most of the programs have been to talk about the ZR1 and ZR1X. The engineers have been fun to listen to on how they managed to test and break equipment while increasing the horsepower. Since the NCM brought the photography inhouse, they are offering clubs photo ops for their visits – in front of the museum as well covering other activities. Don’t forget that they have a package to get any Corvette detailed (outside) and then displayed on the boulevard for the day that could be included in a club visit. Take a look at the updated Museum in Motion venues on the NCM website. The museum is now offering a chance to win a 1967 Corvette in a sweepstakes drawing December 29th. Again, take a look at the NCM website to learn how to get a ticket. That’s all I have for now! See ya in St. Louis Deb Murphy NCCC President
